Will it send the extension to the renter without me?
No. WebRun drafts the extension amendment in DocuSign and leaves it unsent. Your coordinator reviews each one and decides whether to send it for signature.
How does it pick the new end date?
It proposes a new end date based on the contract's existing rental term, so a 30-day contract gets a 30-day extension proposed. Your coordinator can change the term before sending.
What if the renter wants to return the equipment instead?
That is exactly why the amendment is left unsent. Your coordinator can discard the draft and process a normal return if the renter is not extending.
