Reward referrals from planners

When a new referral is added to your Google Sheets referral log, WebRun reads the referrer's name and contact details, drafts a warm thank-you email in Gmail, and posts a Slack alert so you can review and send the note quickly, keeping planners and venue contacts feeling valued and motivated to refer again.

In short

How do I automatically track and thank DJ referral partners?

WebRun monitors your Google Sheets referral log for new entries and, when one appears, drafts a warm thank-you email in Gmail addressed to the referrer, then posts a Slack alert so you can review and send it quickly. Every referral partner is acknowledged before the opportunity to reconnect fades.

  • Every referral acknowledged with a personal thank-you within hours, not days
  • Gmail drafts wait for your approval so the outreach stays genuine
  • Slack alerts mean no referral sits unnoticed in the sheet

Questions, answered

Will it send the thank-you email to the referrer automatically?

No. Every thank-you is saved as a Gmail draft for your review. You approve and send the message yourself so the note feels personal and reflects your relationship with each referrer.

How do I log a referral to trigger the workflow?

Add a new row to your referral tracking Google Sheet with the referrer name, their email, the client referred, and the event date. WebRun detects the new entry and drafts the thank-you from there.

Can I track referrals from multiple sources in the same sheet?

Yes. The sheet can include wedding planners, venue coordinators, or any other referral partner. WebRun reads the referrer's details from each row, so the thank-you is always addressed to the right person.
