Spot vendor cost changes before they hit your margins
Every Monday, WebRun opens QuickBooks to review the latest vendor bills for grain, glass, corks, labels, and other distillery inputs, compares each line-item cost against the prior-period average from Whiskey Systems raw-material records, and posts a cost-change digest to Telegram so you can see where margins are being squeezed before you set the next pricing cycle.

How do I automatically track vendor cost changes for my distillery ingredients?
Every Monday, WebRun reviews last week's vendor bills in QuickBooks, compares each unit cost against prior rates in Whiskey Systems, and posts a Telegram digest listing every ingredient or packaging cost that changed, with old and new prices and a margin-impact summary, so you can respond before the next pricing cycle.
- Margin-impacting cost increases spotted the same week they arrive in a vendor bill
- Management sees a ranked cost-change digest every Monday before the week gets busy
- No automatic changes to records, so pricing decisions stay with the team

Questions, answered
Does it update prices in Whiskey Systems automatically when it finds a change?
No. WebRun reports the cost changes in the Telegram digest but does not update any records automatically. Your team reviews the digest and decides whether to update costs and pricing in Whiskey Systems.
What threshold triggers a flag?
By default, any cost change greater than 3% is flagged. You can set a different threshold in your run settings, or ask WebRun to flag all changes regardless of size.
Can it track costs for barrels and barrel services as well as raw ingredients?
Yes. Any vendor bill category in QuickBooks can be included. Add the relevant vendor or expense category to your run settings and WebRun will include it in the weekly comparison.
