In short

How do I automatically notify customers when their device repair is ready for pickup?

WebRun monitors RepairDesk for tickets moved to Completed, drafts a friendly pickup notice to the customer in Gmail with the device details and store hours, and posts a Slack alert so a staff member can review and send the email. No message reaches the customer without human approval.

  • Customers are notified the same day their device is ready, not the next morning
  • Staff review every message before it reaches the customer
  • No completed ticket sits uncommunicated overnight

Questions, answered

Will it send the email to the customer automatically?

No. WebRun drafts the pickup notice and leaves it in Gmail for a staff member to review and send. Nothing goes to the customer without a human approving it first.

What information does the notice include?

The customer name, device description, ticket number, and your store address and hours. You can tell WebRun to add a payment reminder or any other detail you want included.

What if the ticket has special pickup instructions?

WebRun reads the notes on the RepairDesk ticket and includes any special instructions in the draft, so staff can verify them before the email goes out.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
