Recover failed membership payments

Every morning, WebRun opens Stripe, finds failed and past-due membership charges, drafts a polite message to each affected member in Gmail asking them to update their card, leaves every draft unsent for the team to review, and posts a Slack list of failed payments to recover with amounts.

In short

How do I recover failed coworking membership payments automatically?

Every morning, WebRun opens Stripe, finds failed and past-due membership charges, and lists each member with the amount and failure reason. It drafts a polite update-your-card message to each in Gmail, leaves the drafts unsent for your team, and posts a Slack recovery list, largest or oldest first, so declined payments get recovered before a membership quietly lapses.

  • Failed charges surface every morning, before access quietly lapses
  • Each recovery note is drafted and waiting, so the team just reviews and sends
  • More declined payments get fixed instead of turning into lost members

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

Questions, answered

Will it email members about money on its own?

No. WebRun only drafts each recovery message in Gmail and leaves it unsent. Your team reads every draft and clicks send, so no payment message goes out without a person approving the wording first.

Does it charge cards or retry payments?

No. WebRun never touches a card or moves money. It only reads the failed charges in Stripe and drafts a message asking the member to update their details. The member updates their own card and Stripe retries the charge.

How does it avoid chasing a payment that already cleared?

It reads the live failed and past-due charges in Stripe each morning, so any charge Stripe has since retried and collected drops off the list and that member is not contacted.

Put this on autopilot.
