In short

How do I automatically keep customers updated on their delivery status?

WebRun monitors Onfleet every few minutes for delivery status changes, drafts a personalised update email for each affected customer in Gmail, and posts a Slack summary for your team to review. No email is sent until a human approves it, keeping customers informed without risking an automated mistake.

  • Customers receive timely, personalised milestone updates without manual drafting
  • No update reaches a customer before a team member reviews it
  • Failed or delayed deliveries are flagged to dispatchers immediately

Built for courier companies · last-mile delivery operators · dispatch managers · logistics coordinators

Questions, answered

Will it send emails to customers without anyone reviewing them?

No. Every customer update is saved as a Gmail draft and held for your team to approve before anything is sent. Nothing goes to a customer automatically.

Which delivery milestones trigger a draft?

Any status change in Onfleet can trigger a draft: assigned, en route, arrived, completed, or failed. You control which milestones WebRun monitors.

What if the same delivery changes status twice in quick succession?

WebRun deduplicates by task ID and last-notified status, so only net-new milestones produce a draft. Customers do not receive redundant updates.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
