Will it chase clients for deposits without my approval?
No. Every deposit request is saved as a Gmail draft. Nothing is sent to a client until you review the message and click Send yourself.
How does it know when a deposit is overdue versus just not yet due?
It reads the deposit due date recorded in Caterease against each booking. Only deposits past their due date, or unpaid beyond the number of days you configure, are flagged for chasing.
What if a client already paid the deposit outside of Caterease?
It reads the live payment status in Caterease each run. Once a deposit is marked as received, that client is skipped automatically.
