Unblock the cards that are sitting still
Every hour, WebRun opens Businessmap, scans your workflows for cards marked blocked, captures the block reason, the column, and the assignee, posts the newly blocked ones to Telegram, and escalates anything blocked longer than your threshold into Microsoft Teams.

How do I get alerted when a kanban card is blocked?
WebRun scans your Businessmap boards every hour for cards marked blocked and captures the reason, the column, and the assignee on each one. It posts newly blocked cards to Telegram and escalates anything stuck past your threshold into Microsoft Teams, so a blocker is cleared in hours rather than at the next review.
- Blockers are named with an owner within the hour
- Long-running blocks escalate on their own past your threshold
- Repeated block reasons surface as a pattern, not one-off noise
Built for delivery leads · agile teams · engineering managers · portfolio and PMO teams
What does WebRun do on every run?
The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

1
Businessmap - find blocked cards
WebRun opens Businessmap to find blocked cards. - Open Businessmap and go through each board and workflow you track
- Collect every card currently marked blocked with its title, its column, its assignee, and the block reason
- Record how long each card has been blocked and which ones became blocked since the last run
Done when Every blocked card is listed with its reason, its owner, its column, and how long it has been stuck.
-
2
Telegram - post new blockers
WebRun opens Telegram to post new blockers. - Post the cards that became blocked since the last run to your delivery channel
- Show the card title, the board and column, the assignee, and the block reason on one line each
- Stay silent when nothing new is blocked, so the channel only carries real changes
Done when Every newly blocked card has been posted to Telegram with its owner and reason.
-
3
Microsoft Teams - escalate the oldest
WebRun opens Microsoft Teams to escalate the oldest. - Post cards blocked longer than your escalation threshold to the delivery lead's channel
- Sort them oldest first and show the hours blocked next to each block reason
- Group repeated reasons together so a systemic blocker is obvious rather than counted once per card
Done when Long-running blockers are escalated in Microsoft Teams, oldest first.
How is each run configured?
Secure by default
Connect once, stays signed in
WebRun signs in once and keeps each session in a persistent environment, so every run picks up right where it left off.
Every action is checked against this policy before it runs.
Questions, answered
Will it move cards or clear the block flag?
No. WebRun reads the board and reports what is blocked. Moving a card, unblocking it, or reassigning it stays with the team, so the board only ever changes when a person changes it.
Will it spam the channel every hour?
No. Telegram only receives cards that became blocked since the last run, and Teams only receives cards past your escalation threshold. A quiet hour produces no post.
Does it comment on the card or notify the assignee directly?
It does not comment in Businessmap or message anyone individually. The assignee's name appears in the internal Telegram and Teams posts your team already reads.
Put this on autopilot.
Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
