Catch a Bunny.net traffic spike before the balance runs dry

Through the day, WebRun opens the Bunny.net panel, compares each pull zone's bandwidth and request volume against its normal range, checks how much account credit is left at the current burn rate, texts you when either crosses your limit, and posts a short running note to Telegram.

In short

How do I get alerted about a CDN bandwidth spike or low credit?

WebRun watches your Bunny.net account through the day. It reads bandwidth and requests for each pull zone, compares them against the normal range, and works out how many days your remaining credit covers, then texts you through Twilio on a breach and keeps a running Telegram note of every reading.

  • A traffic spike reaches your phone in the hour it happens
  • Credit never quietly runs out over a weekend
  • Each pull zone is judged against its own baseline, not one blanket number

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens panel.bunny.net in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

  2. 1

    • Open the Bunny.net panel and read bandwidth and request counts per pull zone for the current period
    • Compare each zone against the same window last week to spot an unusual spike
    • Read the remaining account balance and work out how many days it covers at the current burn rate
    • Note any zone with an unusual error rate or cache hit ratio alongside the spike

Done when Traffic per zone and days of credit remaining are both known.

    • Text you only when a zone crosses your bandwidth limit or credit falls under your day threshold
    • Name the zone, the bandwidth figure, and the multiple over normal
    • Include the days of credit left when the alert is about balance
    • Send to your own on-call number and stay silent on quiet runs

Done when You have been texted about any breach, or there was nothing to send.

  4. 3
Telegram - keep the running note
    telegram.org How to Automate Telegram
WebRun in Telegram: keep the running note
WebRun opens Telegram to keep the running note.
    • Post the run to your internal Telegram channel with bandwidth by zone and the balance
    • Show the change against the previous run so a climb is visible before it breaches
    • Keep the notes in one thread so the day reads as a single timeline

Done when The Telegram thread holds the latest traffic and balance reading.

Questions, answered

Will it top up my balance or change a zone?

No. WebRun never adds credit, changes a payment method, edits a pull zone, or purges a cache. It reads the panel and raises an alert, so any spend or configuration change is made by you.

How does it know a spike is unusual?

It compares the current window against the same window in previous days and weeks for that zone, so a normal weekday peak stays quiet while a genuine multiple over baseline triggers the text.

Can I set different limits per zone?

Yes. Give WebRun a bandwidth limit per pull zone and a minimum days of credit, and each zone is judged on its own numbers rather than one global figure.

Put this on autopilot.

Turn it on in minutes - or have our team set it up for you.
