No. It only texts for critical shortfalls, meaning a type or component that has actually dropped below par. Minor dips inside the normal reorder lead time show up on the hourly Teams board instead.
Does it know which shortages matter most?
Yes. It reads on hand units against your par level for every ABO/Rh type and component each run, and flags O negative and AB plasma shortfalls as critical since they cover the widest range of patients.
