Start each day with a clear allergy clinic schedule digest

Every morning, WebRun opens Practice Fusion, reads today's full appointment schedule, groups appointments by type (immunotherapy shots, skin tests, new patients, follow-ups), and posts a structured digest to Slack so every staff member walks in knowing the day's volume, gaps, and priorities.

In short

How do I automatically get a daily allergy clinic schedule summary sent to Slack each morning?

WebRun opens Practice Fusion every morning before the clinic starts, reads the full appointment schedule, and posts a grouped digest to Slack covering appointment counts by type, scheduling gaps, and any patient flags such as expiring authorizations or vials due for replacement. Staff walk in informed instead of spending the first 15 minutes piecing the day together.

  • Staff walk in with a full picture of the day rather than building it from scratch each morning
  • Scheduling gaps and double-bookings are visible before the first patient arrives
  • Special patient flags such as expiring auths or vials due surface automatically at the start of the day

Step by step

What does WebRun do on every run?

The exact actions WebRun takes, in order - in plain language, so you can adjust anything.

  1. WebRun signs in and gets to work

Opens static.practicefusion.com/apps/ehr in a real browser with your saved login - no setup, no API keys.

    • Note any patients flagged for special preparation, such as those due for a new vial or with an outstanding auth

Questions, answered

Does the Slack digest include patient names visible to everyone in the channel?

By default, WebRun posts appointment type counts and flags without full patient names in the Slack message. Individual patient details stay in Practice Fusion. You can configure the level of detail to match your clinic's privacy preferences.

What if the schedule changes after the digest is posted?

The digest reflects the schedule at the time it runs (7:00 AM by default). Same-day changes after that are visible in Practice Fusion directly. You can add a midday re-run if your schedule changes frequently.

Can the digest cover multiple providers or locations?

Yes. WebRun can be configured to read schedules across multiple providers or rooms in Practice Fusion and group the digest by provider so each team member sees their own column.
