See technician billable efficiency at a glance every week

Every Monday, WebRun opens ASPEN Service, pulls last week's clocked hours and billed hours for every technician, calculates each tech's efficiency rate, logs the trend to Google Sheets so no slide is lost between weeks, and posts a ranked digest to Slack so your service manager can see who is over or under target at a glance.

In short

How do I track technician billable efficiency without building a spreadsheet every week?

WebRun pulls every technician's clocked and billed hours from ASPEN Service each Monday, calculates their weekly efficiency rate, logs the trend in Google Sheets, and posts a ranked Slack digest so your service manager can see who is over or under target and who has slipped for a second week running.

  • Under-target technicians get flagged the same week, not at the quarterly review
  • Service managers open Slack to a ranked list instead of building one by hand
  • A two-week decline surfaces before it becomes a pattern nobody noticed

Good to know

Questions, answered

Does it flag individual technicians for discipline?

No. WebRun reports the numbers and flags who is below target or trending down. Any coaching or performance conversation is still your service manager's call.

How is the efficiency rate calculated?

It divides each technician's billed hours by their clocked hours for the week, both read directly from ASPEN Service, so the rate reflects actual time logged.

Does it account for training time or shop cleanup?

It reports whatever hours are logged as clocked versus billed in ASPEN. If your shop excludes non-billable categories like training from clocked time, the rate reflects that setup.

Put this on autopilot.
